DAYLIGHT SYMPOSIUM 2005
A Common Language

The 1st VELUX Daylight Symposium gathered people from the field of research, education and architectural practices, as well as legislators and lighting designers to exhange knowledge, viewpoints and visions related to daylight in buildings and its effects on the occupants.

The need for a common language among practitioners and researchers was identified, as well as the need for better tools and methods to plan and evaluate daylight quality in buildings.

An article review of the symposium, by Werner Osterhaus, is available here.
